This is my entry for the Dark Horse Tournament 
I have a total of six pages, 3 colored, 3 uncolored. If I had more time I would of colored them all.
Unfortunately, work, school, and my own comic outside of this contest all have to be done. I'm actually getting ready to go to work as I type this. My coloring improves from the first page to the second... along with my drawing style. It is a little embarrassing to see how much I changed from page to page. (makes me want to redo the first one over again) I guess if I advance I'll be sure to seek consistancy.
Um, anyways. My original character is Foxtrot.
...And my opponent is Roland Edwards, the Bathrobe Ninja.
The colors I used on his character might not be accurate.... and I threw in some pink slippers for cuteness. I hope he doesn't mind.
Below is pulled directly from the tournament rules.

You and your opponent are faced with a three minute duel, with a catch. One of you starts off with a faintly glowing rune that hangs above your head. If left on for the duration of the three minutes, the rune will force the fighter with it on to kneel and that fighter will be unable to move. Yet, if a fighter with the rune makes body contact with the other fighter, the rune is transferred. (and this can be done as many time as possible during the fight’s duration. So in essence, you’re playing tag, heh.) The fighter without the rune at the end of the three minutes has to speak a one or two word command to the rune, which in turn will be acted out on the kneeling fighter. This may be something sinister like “Explode” or “Fry”. Yet you may say something a bit more playful or humble like “tickle” or “sneeze”. Regardless of you you choose, the fight will end.
The arena and fighter who starts off with the rune is entirely up to you. (So you don’t need to talk back and forth to try and figure out what the details are.)
